Love is in the air: Siddharth holds Alia’s dupatta

Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra might shout from the roof top that they are just friends and there is nothing special brewing between them but the couple's ‘public display of emotions’ makes us bound to believe that they are more than just true friends.

While returning from Jaipur after promoting their new film, ‘Kapoors & Sons’, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra caught the attention of the paparazzi when Sid hold on to Alia’s dupatta. The ‘Highway’ could not stop blushing on Sid’s act.

Recently, Alia celebrated her 23st birthday and guess what she got from her beau, the cutest cake from her rumoured boyfriend. Alia and Sidharth's alleged love-affair always grabbed the headlines but the couple always claims to be only good friends. There were also rumours that they are moving in together.

During the promotion of ‘Kapoor & Sons’, Alia also thanked her rumoured boyfriend for making her realize the value of a family. She confessed that before thatt she never gave enough value to her family.

"I am lucky to have family in the industry. When I see Sidharth and how he manages everything here alone, I realise I don't have to do anything as my family takes care (of all this)," Alia said during a media interaction in Mumbai.

"This film made me realise that true love exists not just between a man and woman, but a family as well. Earlier, I did not give enough value to the support I get from my family," said the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actor Soni Razdan.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Sid denied dating Alia, “Rumours that we were seeing each other? Ya, I was just seeing her in and out and 45 days I’ve only seen her all throughout 'Kapoor and Sons'. And these rumours don't affect my relation with her. I think we are in a profession that we’ve to make belief and convince people. Whatever we say can’t really get misconstrued at times because we’re professional liars so we convince people any which way. So, I had a great film working relationship with Alia in 'Kapoor and Sons'.
