Lata Mangeshkar is still in hospital and doing fine, says Usha Mangeshkar

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is recovering well but she is still in hospital. Sister Usha Mangeshkar updated about Lataji’s health. "She is doing fine. She is still in the hospital and when the doctors will tell us to take her home, then we will do so," Usha Mangeshkar told PTI.

"She is doing fine. She is still in the hospital's ICU," the insider told PTI. On November 11, Lata Mangeshkar was rushed to Mumbai Breach Candy hospital after she complained of breathlessness.

Ever since Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to hospital, fake news of her death rumours did the round on net. Refuting the death rumour, Lata's niece Rachana confirmed that the veteran singer is doing fine and she also urged fans to "ignore all the fake reports."

Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises, tweeted that the legendary singer is stable. He wrote, "A group of doctors from Cleveland Clinic, US, visited Lata Mangeshkar ji today. Happy to inform, her health is steadily improving."

An official spokesperson of Lata Mangeshkar said on November 16, "Lata didi is doing good today". 

Soon after her admission, Rachana said, "We have admitted Lata Ji to keep her comfortable and she is better than last night. In a matter of 3-4 days she will be absolutely fine. Her condition is stable, and on the path to recovery”.
