'L.O.C.' confirmed for Dec. 19

LOC release date decided! The rumour mills are working overtime. A television channel has reported that J.P. Dutta's L.O.C. has been postponed because Saregama [the music giant is marketing the audio rights of the film] has “pressurised” Dutta to postpone the film since “the music sales haven't caught on...” Continued...
The news has been lifted shamelessly by some reporters and websites [famous for desk-jobs and stale news!], thereby adding fuel to fire.

Although this writer is fully aware that the news is nothing but a figment of someone's wild imagination, we still decided to get the facts right from Saregama spokesperson Pooja Kashyap.

Pooja was caught unaware and laughed aloud [like us!] when we asked that Saregama had prevailed upon Dutta to postpone the film. “Who's spreading such malicious rumours? [we didn't feel it important to mention the insignificant source!] The film is confirmed for December 19. Saregama is happy with the response to the music of L.O.C. There is no question of pressurising J.P. to postpone the film.”

The clarification should silence the gossip mongers who, in any case, are looking for some free publicity at the expense of the producer!
