‘Kya Kehna’ director Kundan Shah dies at 69


Noted Bollywood director Kundan Shah passed away on Saturday morning following a massive heart attack. He was 69. The renowned director peacefully died on sleep. His daughter confirmed the news of his demise.

No sooner the news of his demise spread, Bollywood celebs took to twitter to share their heartfelt condolence.

Hansal Mehta tweeted, “Jaane bhi do yaaron... RIP Kundan Shah.

Milap Zaveri too paid a tribute to Kundan Shah via a tweet. “RIP Kundan Shah. #JaaneBhiDoYaaron was a classic. #KabhiHaanKabhiNaa is one of my fav films ever. May u Keep the heavens entertained,” he wrote.

Trade expert, Ashoke Pandit tweeted, “Sad to know about the demise of one of our finest directors #KundanShah. Will miss you Sir! #JaaneBhiDoYaaron.”

Kundan Shah will be remembered for his movies like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’ (1983), ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’ (1993) and TV shows like ‘Nukkad’ (1986) and ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ (1988). His last film was ‘P se PM Tak’ released in 2014. Shah also directed films like ‘Kya Kehna’ (2000) and ‘Dil Hai Tumhara’ (2002).
