Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital Launch

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with mother Vrinda Rai

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has hardly been seen in many films, where has this lady disapeared to, after marriage? Well Ash was recently spotted at the launch of the Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital. Ash was seen wearing a boring salwar kameez and has gone the non glamorous way. Well ever since she got married, Ash thinks it's her heavenly duty to look traditional, well Ash how about performing your other duties as an actor, looking glamorous is part of that.

Along with Ash, it seemed like a family outing with mommy dearest, Vrinda Rai, father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and even ma-in-law Jaya Bachchan attending the launch of the Dhirubai Ambani Hospital. Everybody knows the Bachchans and the Ambani's are good family friends, after all the Bachchans have to nurture fruitful friendships, you never know when the connections maybe needed.

Jaya Bachchan in a Salwar Kameez at Ambanis' Hospital

Ma in law, Jaya Bachchan was her de glam, non smiling self. We wonder whether Ash is adopting the de glam look from Jaya? The Bachchans were out in full force, except for Abhishek Bachchan. But politician Amar Singh was obviously there, no surprise there. The Bachchans have hardly been seen in any films, Amitabh due to his recent illness, Ash due to her marital duties. But now that Abhi finally has Dilli 6 releasing, they have all decided to come out in support of him.

Tina Ambani was obviously also there at the launch of the hospital. Despite the on going feud between the Ambani brothers, it seems like a truce was called for the launch. It seems like the Ambani hospital already had it's first celebrity patient, Hrithink Roshan who was recently injured while shooting on the sets of Kites. Well all that was needed was a call from Papa Roshan to the Ambanis and Hrithik was given five star treatment at the hospital. Now this is called 'using your connections'.
