Koffee with Karan’s grand finale to have Ash-Abhi as guests


Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee with Karan’ has had a tremendous following due to its most controversial as well as high profile stars revealing their secrets. The show has always had an extra zing due to Karan’s enthusiasm with which he gets the stars to get candid about their confessions. Koffee with Karan has had stars like Bipasha, John, Hrithik, Priyanka to yesteryears stars like Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan etc. Now the show has come to an end but this too will be done in style, Karan has supposedly roped in the newly married couple Ash-Abhi for the last episode of the show. The couple will perhaps be seen for the first time getting candid together on-screen. Sources also claim that it may Amitabh and Jaya may be surprise guests on the show. Well it will be the first Bachchan family bonding onscreen, so this one’s definitely going to worth a watch.
It will definitely be interesting to hear candid confessions from Ash and Abhi live and another interesting element would be to know which one of them would get the coffee hamper. The final episode will be aired some time in August. The grand finale will also have many other surprise elements like a panel of judges consisting of names like Malaika Arora, Rahul Bose, Cyrus Broacha, Rohit Bal etc who will give away ‘Koffee Awards’ which will include Best Rapidfire contestant, Best Guest etc. Meanwhile though it is the end of the show for now, Karan may just take a well deserved break and then come back due to the popularity of the show. Meanwhile he definitely director Karan will not be idle during his beak and has many plans already set.

His first plan involves starting his next film project about which he is extremely tight lipped. After that Karan also plans do a variety show for NDTV. Karan Johar confirms this saying “Yes I am in talks with Sameer Nair about a variety show. It’ll take off after my next film.” The show will have an eclectic mix of bollywood like stand up comedy, songs, dances, skits and celebrity interviews. The show will be on the lines of tabloid journalism but on television. Right now the program is still being worked on and Karan Johar is helping out NDTV with their soon to be launched entertainment channel with inputs. So for now however it is back to doing what Karan does best-films.
