Kill Dil: Govinda looks menacing in pink pants

Govinda during his days as a leading man in the 90’s was known for his colorful attires. It looks like his next film ‘Kil Dil’ may bring back some of his old fashion. The makers have released four separate posters for the four main characters in the film. In the poster featuring Govinda, the veteran actor is seen in black shirt paired with pink pants. But thanks to the black shades, stubble and facial expression, he manages to look menacing.  The poster also carries the tag line ‘#WILLKILLFORPAISA.’ Govinda is all set to a play a negative character for the first time in his long Bollywood career. His last screen presence was in a cameo role in Akshay Kumar starrer, ‘Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty’. Govinda was last seen in a major role in the 2013 film 'Deewana Main Deewana'.

Alongside the poster, the trailer of the film has also been released. In the film, Ranveer Singh and Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar play two orphans, Dev and Tutu who are given shelter by criminal Bhaiyaji and trained as killers. However their lives are turned upside down with the entry of Disha, played by Parineeti Chopra. Rani Mukerji is also playing a key role in the film. The shooting of the film was wrapped up in May. The film also features a dance number where Govinda dances with the young stars. Govinda and Ranveer reportedly had a dance off at the sets during break. Ranveer was apparently overwhelmed as he has been a fan of the actor since his childhood days.

The film is also a comeback for the director Shaad Ali who last made the 2007 flop ‘'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'.  Govinda has also recently shot for a cameo role in his friend choreographer Ganesh Acharya's film ‘Hey Bro’. When contacted by media, Ganesh Acharya confirmed the news and said, “Although he was busy with the Ganpati festival, he was gracious enough to take some time out to shoot for my movie. I hadn't even informed him much in advance - it was only a day's notice - yet he agreed to come.” When asked about his role in the film, Acharya said, "Govinda plays a drunkard on the street. And being the great actor that he is, he pulled off the scene easily. It wasn't really tough convincing him as we share more than a mere professional relationship. However, don't be surprised if you see him dancing in the film."
