Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “Like some metro-centric films released recently, #KiAndKa too picked up towards evening shows on Fri at plexes of urban centres... #KiAndKa Fri ? 7.30 cr. India biz... Sat + Sun biz is crucial to deliver a healthy weekend total.”

‘Ki & Ka’ is an unconventional film where the husband plays the homemaker and the wife is the chief breadwinner. The film speaks about gender equality and attempts to break stereotypes.

Besides Kareena and Arjun, the film also casts Swaroop Sampat and Rajit Kapur, while Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan make cameo appearances.
