‘Kesari’ Day 7 collection: Akshay Kumar's ‘Kesari’ makes fastest 100 crore


Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Kesari’ makes the fastest 100 crore in 2019. The film made 100 crore in just seven days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "fastest 100 crore grosser of 2019”.

The film has made a whopping collection of 36 crores in two days. The film opened with rave reviews and it made a sum of Rs. 21 crore on its opening day and it becomes the "biggest opener of 2019."

Sharing the film's excellent box office report, Taran Adarsh tweeted: "Kesari is now fastest Rs. 100 cr grosser of 2019 (so far)... Crosses RS 100 cr on Day 7... Thu 21.06 cr, Fri 16.75 cr, Sat 18.75 cr, Sun 21.51 cr, Mon 8.25 cr, Tue 7.17 cr, Wed 6.52. Total: Rs. 100.01 cr. India biz... Rs. 100 cr in days: #GullyBoy [Day 8]... #TotalDhamaal [Day 9]."

Earlier, Taran Adarsh tweeted about the box-office collection of ‘Kesari:-

"Kesari is solid on Day 2... Decline on a working day - after a holiday - is common but the decline is less this time... Will score big numbers on Day 3 and 4... Is chasing a huge total in its *extended weekend*... Thu 21.06 cr, Fri 16.70 cr. Total: Rs.37.76 cr. India biz," tweeted Taran Adarsh.

"Kesari aims at No 1 spot as far as *opening weekend* is concerned... Trending better than #GullyBoy and #TotalDhamaal... Will surpass *extended weekend* [Thu-Sun] of #GullyBoy [Rs. 72.45 cr] as well as *traditional weekend* [Fri-Sun] of #TotalDhamaal [Rs. 62.40 cr]," tweeted Taran Adarsh.

‘Kesari’ helmed by Anurag Singh is based on the famous Battle of Saragarhi and it sees Akshay enacting the role of Havildar Ishar Singh who led the 21 Sikh Regiment against 10,000 Afghan tribesmen in a battle in 1897 that took place at Saragarhi.
