Kaun Banega Crorepati set to roll from September 9

The seventh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will go live from September 9 and this time the ‘Hot Seat’ will have wheels and it will travel from  the northern belt of the country to southern belt giving the viewers an unique opportunity to experience and see the show in their own city.

Megastar and the host of the show Amitabh Bachchan formally kick-starts the ‘Hot Seat Aapke Shehar’ van as part of the promotional activity for Kaun Banega Crorepati 2013 in Mumbai.

The ‘Hot Seat Aapke Shahar Mein’ van will travel to 12 cities starting from Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Meerut, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna, Kolkata, Nagpur, Indore and end up in Nashik.

The van will stay for 3 days in each city and they will select few participants from the city to eventually take part on the show.

Amitabh Bachchan spoke about this year experience of hosting KBC.  “Rushed then to YRF to partake in the rehearsals for KBC … yes this year it is being held at YRF, closer and hopefully quieter and more disciplined a facility…and walking lunch, and a frantic drive to Sony Office some miles away to launch the KBC Aapke Shaher Mein Bus … A bus that travels to different cities in the country carrying a mock set up of the game show and allows residents to come up and feel the experience of sitting on the mock Hot Seat and play to questions sent me through satellite.”

KBC is well promoted on TV with a message. This year the show is spreading with  a new message 'Sikna Kabhi Bandh Mat Kigiyega, Kyunki Sikhna Bandh to Jeetna'.Bandh'.
