Katrina to romance boyfriend Ranbir on-screen
For quite sometime Katrina Kaif has been struggling to get a film opposite her boyfriend and actor Ranbir Kapoor and finally, the actor has grabbed a promising project opposite the ‘Barfi!’ actor. Kat and Ranbir has been paired opposite each other in ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
‘Jagga Jasoos’ is being directed by Anurag Basu of ‘Barfi!’ fame. If things goes on the right track then fans of the couple will get to see on-screen together for the third time. They in the past acted in movies like ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini’ and ‘Raajneeti’. Both the films fared well at the box-office and their chemistry was equally cherished.
Talking
about ‘Jagga Jasoos’, a source told a leading daily, "Anurag has met
Katrina regarding the project and the script is currently with the actress. He
is busy putting together other aspects of the film. The onscreen chemistry
between Ranbir and Katrina was evident in both Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and
Raajneeti. The talks are at an advanced stage and if all goes well, she will be
cast opposite Ranbir in the film"
‘Jagga Jasoos’ will go on floor in September next year. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ will be
co-produced by Picture Shuru, which is Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu's new joint
production company.
With this project, Katrina’s long time wish to pair opposite her boyfriend gets fulfilled. It was said that she was the first choice for Ayan Mukherjee’s ‘Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani’ but she lost the chance and now she again lost the chance to act with the actor for another film with Imtiaz Ali to her arch-rival Deepika Padukone.
Recently, the couple grabbed the headlines for their romantic gateway in Spain. The leaked images of their cozy holiday at Ibiza beach in Spain made huge hullabaloo all over the net.Katrina and Ranbir's love story kick-start on the set of 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahini' and since then the couple are going strong. Katrina dumped her mentor and superstar Salman Khan and bonded with Ranbir while Ranbir dated Deepika Padukone before establishing relationship with Katrina Kaif.
Kat is also the choice of Ranbir's parents and they accepted their relationship.
