Katrina Kaif touches Manoj Bajpayee’s feet
Totally smitten by Manoj Bajpayee’s performance in ‘Rajneeti’, Katrina Kaif touched his feet. Kat was awestruck to see Manoj’s powerhouse performance in ‘Rajneeti’ and after the premiere, she came forward and touched his feet. She said to Manoj, ‘aap to superb actor hain.’ In return of her kind gesture, Manoj lifted her and hugged Kat. It was not only Kat who praised Manoj but actors Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor also applauded the actor and lifted him on their shoulders.
Delightful Manoj Bajpayee said about Kat’s act, “It is very embarrassing for me. Katrina herself has performed so well in the film. I told her, ‘Please don’t embarrass me.’ After that, both Ranbir and Arjun lifted me on their shoulders. It was a nice gesture from them as it showed the chemistry we all had during the making of the film.”
This is not the first time that any actor bowed before Manoj Bajpayee. Years before versatile Tabu also touched his feet after watching his performance in ‘Satya’. Recalling the twelve years back incident, Manoj Bajpayee said, “Yes that time Tabu did touch my feet. It is like history is repeating itself. Tabu was such a senior actress at the time. I was shocked and didn’t know what to say. As far as ‘Raajneeti’ is concerned, I don’t have words to thank the people who have sent me messages and called me since Thursday night. Prakash Jha gave me the role of a lifetime. I am looking forward to work with him in ‘Arakshan’.”
