Katrina Kaif seeks blessings of Dalai Lama on his 82nd birthday

Actress Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of her much-delayed film ‘Jagga Jasoos’, on Thursday wished the Dalai Lama on his 82nd birthday today. The beautiful actress took to her Instagram page and posted a very warm message and a quote, with a picture of them.

The picture has Katrina seeking the Dalai Lama’s blessings, and it looks like they met during a flight. “'Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.' ... words that will always ring true... only love and immense respect for His Holiness on his birthday," Katrina captioned the post.

Born on July 6, 1935, at Taktser hamlet in northeastern Tibet, the Dalai Lama was recognised at the age of two as the reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama, Thubten Gyatso. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 for his non-violent campaign for democracy and freedom in his homeland Tibet.

However, Katrina seems to have taken off the post. Meanwhile, she will be next seen opposite her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor in Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’, scheduled to hit screens on July 14. She is also shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ opposite Salman Khan and also starring in Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.
