Kareena’s ‘Godh Bharai’ a low-key affair, reveals Sharmila Tagore
Kareena Kapoor is expected to delivery her baby in December but till now there is no any buzz about her baby shower. Everyone is looking forward to a grand baby shower ceremony of the begum but nothing of that sort will be taking place as per mom-in-law and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. Sharmila revealed Kareena’s ‘godh bharai’ plan.
During a quick conversation with the gathered press at the Lux Golden Rose Awards, when Sharmila Tagore was asked how they are going to celebrate Kareena Kapoor Khan’s baby shower, she revealed, "We are going to celebrate and have a lot of fun. But I am not sure whether Kareena wants a big celebration. She just wants it to be quiet and spend time with her family and friends," said Sharmila.
Kareena wants a quiet ceremony and likes to spend time at home with family and her close buddies. "Karisma and Kareena's friends, Amruta, Malaika, will come to cheer her up. But I don't think it will be a big baby shower," added the veteran actress.
Meanwhile, her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore is not very positive about the traditional ceremony and even Bebo’s close friend Amrita Arora Ladak didn't have one. So looking into them, it was concluded that Kareena might not have a baby shower ceremony.
Says a source, “She might not have one. Her closest friend Amrita Arora Ladak also didn’t have one. Even her saasu maa Sharmila Tagore is not big on having the traditional godh bharai. But knowing Bebo, never say never. She might just decide to have one, if she feels like it.”
Kareena Kapoor is expected to deliver in December. She is enjoying her pregnancy phase to the fullest, attending parties, hanging with friends, gorging on her favorite foods. Kareena is living life to the fullest, no restriction only masti in abundance.
Heavily pregnant Kareena recently walked the red carpet at the Lux Golden Rose Awards in a red gown joined by her mom-in-law. She raised eyebrows when he hugged her ex-flame Shahid Kapoor.
