Kareena to star in Karan Johar’s film after ‘Veera Di Wedding’?

Actress Kareena Kapoor has already made some official appearances post giving birth to her and Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur on December 20, 2016. The yummy mummy is yet to begin shooting for her next film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, but looks like Kareena has already landed another film offer from her filmmaker friend Karan Johar.

According to a report in DNA, the Dharma Productions honcho wants to sign Kareena for a romantic comedy. The report quoted a source as saying, “Karan has approached her (Kareena) for one of his home productions. It's a romcom and two friends are talking the project over.”

If the report turns out to be true and Kareena signs the project, then the duo will be reuniting for a film after almost four years. Kareena’s last film for Karan’s production was ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ opposite Imran Khan in 2013. The film was a dud.

Karan also directed Kareena in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. The two friends had a fall-out when Kareena asked for a higher price when Karan wanted to cast her for his production ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan. Kareena has wanted an amount on par with the male lead, which caused a rift between the two.

Karan revealed this in his autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ and called the whole thing “idiotic.” He wrote, “Kareena and I didn't speak to each other for almost a year. For a year, we looked through each other at parties. It was very idiotic. She was a kid; she's a decade younger than me.”

But they got back and Karan produced Kareena’s 2010 film ‘We Are Family’ and was also the first to announce the birth of Taimur’s birth on Twitter.
