Kareena-Saif’s baby nawab Taimur showered with personalised gifts

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s baby boy Taimur is getting a royal treatment, and the little ‘Nawab’ is definitely entitled to it. The little boy is being showered with gifts, and too personalised items.

A huge goodie bag by kids boutique My Baby Babbles consisting of customised things, with Taimur’s name written on them, has arrived for the royal celebrity kid. The items include a blue onsie designed as a sports jersey with Taimur’s name and number 20, his date of birth, written on it in orange. There is also a pink bandhgala dress, a shawal, a bath towel designed as a teddy bear, besides a Birth statistics frame, log books and teether. All these are worth Rs. 30, 000.

My Baby Babbles has shared a picture and a video of the items on its Instagram page. “A huuuge basket of #PersonalisedMBBGoodies going out to the very special #TaimurAliKhanPataudi!” it captioned the image. “#LittleTaimurs wardrobe just got a little bit bigger! A #TeamIndia personalised onesie and a custom kurta set for our special little customer!” read the caption with the video showing off the items.

Earlier, Taimur’s parents also got a royal nursery designed by Ritakshi Arora of children’s boutique Bibs & Cribs. The elegant cot had the Pataudi crest carved on it, as suggested by dad Saif.

Saif and Kareen welcomed their baby on December 20, and shared the good news by releasing a joint statement, announcing the baby’s name as Taimur. And for all the wishes the new parents received, there were a section of people who slammed the couple for naming the child after the barbaric emperor Timur.

The name, in Persian means ‘iron’ which signifies strength, and hence Saif and Kareena picked the name. And as Saif mentioned, a person need not be like the person he/she is named after, and Taimur will grow up to be a liberal, balanced, open-minded guy.

Thankfully, the controversy has died down with time.
