Snapshot: Saif Ali Khan with ex-wife Amrita Singh at Pataudi palace

Pataudi Palace has always been the center of attraction. The Nawab of Pataudi Saif Ali Khan has spend some quality time with his first wife Amrita Singh before they broke-up. Saif has got two children from Amrita, Sara and Ibrahim and their good moment was captured on lens. They were clicked outside the Pataudi palace during their happy days.

Now Saif's present begum Kareena Kapoor Khan along with her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore, is busy with the restoration work of the Pataudi Palace. It seems Bebo dear is working hard to play the perfect wife to the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan.

According to a media buzz, despite having a choc-a-block schedule with the shooting of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham 2’ and a number of TV commercials, Kareena is excited about doing some home improvement job for hubby Saif.

Reports in the media say the actress has decided to take up the immense task of renovating Saif’s Pataudi palace. Teaming up with mom-in-law Sharmila, the actress plans to restore the 10-bedroom palace to all its former glory.

A source was quoted saying, “Despite having a busy schedule that compels her to shoot and travel, Kareena is enthusiastic about working to restore the Pataudi palace to its former glory and both she and Sharmila are taking a keen interest in the project.”

It appears that recently, Kareena spent two days in Pataudi with Sharmila for the palace project before going ahead with her work commitments.

Some reports say, maybe Kareena is just the wife Saif needed to straighten things in his life, but her fans would definitely love it if she devoted some time to her films as well. With her last release, ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, being a washout, her well wishers are worried that Bebo may lose out in the star race if she does not come up with a hit soon.

Born in the renowned Kapoor family, Kareena was exposed to acting from a very early age, which became her interest and thus took up acting as a career.  It is said that she was particularly inspired by the works of actresses Nargis and Meena Kumari.

She took training at an acting institute in Mumbai and debuted alongside Abhishek Bachchan in J P Dutta’s war drama ‘Refugee’ in 2000.

The star has also participated in several stage shows and world tours since 2002.

Apart from acting Kareena has made public appearances to support various philanthropic activities and has been actively involved in promoting children’s education and the safety of women.

In 2010, the actress adopted the village of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh as part of a leading news channel’s Greenathon Campaign, to provide the village with a regular supply of electricity, and then participated in the international campaign, 1GOAL Education for All.
