Kareena speaks about step-daughter Sara's acting plan
Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan grabbed the limelight when she posed with her mother and veteran actress Amrita Singh for hello magazine and hit the ramp for designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla at industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s lavish party. Post her appearance she also received Bollywood offers, as per sources but she chose studies over acting. Step mom and Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor throws a light on Sara’s Bollywood dreams.
When asked about Sara’s Bollywood plans, Kareena said, "Not
at all. Sara is at Columbia University in New York. She’s studying at one of
the best schools in the world, and her father is proud of her. There’s no talk
of Bollywood for sure."
When asked do they talk about Bollywood and Hindi film industry.
"No, in fact, now she lives in New York, so she comes down only for the
holidays. Sometimes we talk about it, but that’s not the main topic."
21-year-old daughter is Saif and ex-wife Amrita Singh and quite resemblance her
mom. Amrita too wants Sara to complete her studies before stepping into
Bollywood. Father Saif Ali Khan also has no objection about Sara’s acting
career but he wants her to complete her studies first as the Nawab believes
acting was "most incredible profession in the whole world."
There were also reports about Yash Raj Films signing Sara for ‘Aurangzeb’ but Amrita made it clear that she was signed for the film and not her daughter.
