Karan Singh Grover skips ‘Hate Story 3’ promotions for Bipasha

Vishal Pandya’s ‘Hate Story 3’ opened to a good start on Friday, after all the star cast of the film have done extensive promotions for it. But, a day ahead of the film’s release, Karan Singh Grover left the promotional campaign in Jaipur to be with his rumoured girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

Karan, along with co-stars Sharman Joshi, Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah and director Vishal Pandya were in the Pink City on Thursday, December 3, to promote the erotic thriller. However, within moments of landing in Jaipur from Mumbai, the ‘Alone’ actor made a quick U turn and boarded the next available flight to Mumbai.

Karan was missing his ‘special friend’ Bipasha who was apparently not in good shape, according to a report in Midday.

According to the report, Karan did not inform the rest of the unit that he was returning to Mumbai. They realised it much later that he was back at the airport waiting to catch a flight to Mumbai.

“As soon as the unit reached the hotel, they dispersed to their rooms to get ready for a promotional event. But Karan told them he had some work and disappeared. They assumed that he had stepped out for a while, but later they realised that he was on a flight back to Mumbai. They then continued with the promotional activities sans him,” the report quoted a source as saying.

Last week, Bipasha had suffered minor burns on her face and hands when her hairdresser accidentally dropped hot tongs. She had tweeted, “Started my day of shoot with multiple burns on my face and hands by a so called senior hair stylist. She did not even flinch after dropping the tong. Inhuman. Think she came drunk to work. Unbelievable!”

“Karan appeared to be pre-occupied and reluctant to be part of the promotional activities. Moreover, when he realised that the same hairdresser because of whom Bipasha suffered burns, was part of the 'Hate Story 3' trip to Jaipur, he saw red. His behaviour made it clear that he was not happy to have her in their midst,” the source added.

Karan was unavailable for comment.
