Karan Johar mocked for posting Shweta Bachchan, Navya’s pic

On Monday, the 46-year-old ace filmmaker Karan Johar shared picture of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda to announce Shweta's new label (in collaboration with designer Monisha Jaising). But least did the filmmaker know that he would be badly trolled for taking nepotism forward.

Karan captioned a stylist picture of the mother-daughter# When a supremely talented designer and a fashion forward force collaborate the result is magical and beyond chic! @monishajaising and @shwetabachchan bring the new label in town MxS f/w 2018. @mxsworld ! PS.. don’t miss the teenage fashionista in the frame! #navyananda !

The filmmaker was heavily mocked for promoting nepotism.

Read some of the hate comments: -

A hater wrote# "I'm sure you will launch this girl in your next project... but you can't see talent in other struggling actors... your best launching machine - nepotism," read a comment. Comments like "N for? Nepotism" followed.

Another mocked the filmmaker#"Nepotism at its extreme case! Please post some talented people's pictures. You need to stop this instantly," demanded another user while another comment read: "Nepotism zindabad... he is the Santa Claus of rich people."

Another troll posts# "Make the rich richer great. Soon you'll be launching her too cause you're friends with her mom and shit. Nepotism at its best. There are so many other talented and beautiful people in India who aren't rich and struggling. You can launch them? But no. I hope you'll realise that and make a change for the better."

In the past, on the issue of nepotism, Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut had a bitter exchange of words in the public forum. Things intiated when the ‘Queen’ tagged him the ‘flag bearer of nepotism’.
