Karan Johar lost his cool over ‘Shuddhi’ report

Filmmaker Karan Johar’s lost his cool over ‘Shuddhi’ report. At the trailer launch of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, Karan fired when he was asked about his most ambitious project, ‘Shuddhi’.

“Oh my god, oh my god, I am folding my hands and bowing down to you all, stop asking me questions about Shuddhi. I don’t know what kind of bad omen the movie is going through, I am not able to make it,” said Karan.

Shuddhi’ was very much in news for the casting coup. First, he has roped in Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, but Hrithik backed out of the film due to Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’, when he backed out Kareena Kapoor also walked out of the project. Karan then roped in Salman Khan but the superstar also walked out for some reasons and lately, he informed that he has roped in Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan for the movie.

Varun Dawan has rubbished rumours that ‘Shuddhi’ is based on author Amish Tripathi’s debut book ‘Immortals of Meluha’.

“There are a lot of things that are new in this film (‘Shuddhi’) . There is a rumour that it is based on Meluha … Shiva and all that… but is not true… The film is on a completely different subject,” Varun Dhawan said.

Karan Malhotra of ‘Agneepath’ fame will helm the project. “With ‘Shuddhi’ lot of people have said a lot of things.. I don’t want to say anything. An actor’s job is to act and I will just do things to the best of my ability… Then people have to decide how Alia and me have performed and whether they liked us or not,” Varun said in an interview here.
