‘Kapoor & Sons’ mints in Rs 40.28 cr at the box-office

Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan starrer ‘Kapoor & Sons’ produced by Dharma Productions is going steady at the box-office since the film released last Friday. The film had a poor start but gradually it gained momentum.

Directed by Shakun Batra, the movie collected 6.85 Cr, 7.75 Cr, and 11.75 Cr in its first three days, totalling to Rs 26.35 Crores. Strong story line and power packed performance of the actors are pulling audience to the theatres and in the second week it showed a great leap.

Apart from the lead stars, audience also liked Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rajat Kapur's performance.

'Kapoor & Sons' is a story of two brothers from a rather dysfunctional family. They both befriend the same girl, and things get a little messy when jealousy creeps in. The film plays out over a weekend vacation the family takes together.
