Kapil Sharma left rehab, stopped drinking

Kapil Sharma has left rehab much early before the scheduled date. He left the detoxication center in Bengaluru 28 days before the speculated time. A close source of the noted comedian informed that Kapil has quit drinking in 12 days. Kapil Sharma has been treated at Ayurvedic center in Bengaluru for alcoholism.

Kapil was supposed to stay in the rehab for 40 days but he left early for work commitments. “He needed to return to Mumbai to complete his film Firangi and start promoting and marketing it for its November release,” a close friend of Kapil said.

The source adds Kapil is doing much better, “Kapil is feeling much better. I can sense the changes in him. He had been pushing himself too far during the last few years. His mind and body gave warning signals. He wasn’t taking these warnings seriously. Now, finally God planned this break for him. And it has done him a world of good. Kapil has stopped drinking completely, at least, for now.”

Kapil Sharma has taken a short from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and he will be back soon with new episodes and changed format.

Kapil will resume shooting for new episodes in October. “Kapil is totally fit now. He should be back from Benguluru soon and by next month, The Kapil Sharma Show will be on floors again,” a source told the daily.

On the health front, Kapil was not doing great. Couple of times, he had to cancel shoots due to ill-health. Basically, after the mid-air brawl with Sunil Grover and others Kapil broke down mentally and emotionally.
