Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath’s wedding festivities begin

Kapil Sharma and Ginnni Chatrath’s wedding festivities begin with Akhandh path and Bangle ceremony. Pictures from the pre-wedding rituals are doing all the round on net.

For the Akhand Path ceremony, Ginni wore a purple lehenga paired with a pink dupatta. For the Bangle ceremony,  Ginni’s wore red sharara with golden work on it and donned a heavy gold jewellery. Videos showed the family and friends had a great time and Ginni danced at her Bangle ceremony.

Revealing that given their conservative family background, Kapil said he and Ginni never went for a date. Kapil was quoted as saying, "We did not have the usual dating scenario as both our families are conservative. Last year, when I was going through a low phase, she was there with me throughout. That’s when I felt that if she is with me during my low phase, then she is the one for me. I can rely on her."

Revealing how love blossomed between them, Kapil shared in an interview, “She studied in HMV College (Jalandhar). I was a scholarship holder, as I was a national winner in theatre. I was a student of APJ College and in order to make some pocket money, I started directing plays. I went to audition students at her college and that’s how we met in 2005.” Ginni then went to audition for a play and that’s where the two met for the first time. Kapil continued, “She was 19 then and I was 24. I was tired of taking auditions and explaining the role to the girls. Ginni was so good that I was quite impressed with her and told her to audition the girls for me. As we started the rehearsals, she started bringing food for me. Back then, I thought that she was doing it out of respect.”

Kapil and Ginni will get married on December 12, 2018, at the Grand Cabbana and post their wedding, the newly-wedded couple will throw a reception party on December 14 in Mumbai for friends and relatives. Talking about his wedding Kapil told IANS, “The wedding is on December 12 in Jalandhar. That’s Ginni’s hometown. We wanted to keep it low key. But Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wanted the wedding to be on a lavish scale. And I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also wants the wedding to be lavish.”

Kapil announced his marriage on social media, “With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect and togetherness on 12th of December, 2018. We would like to thank each and every one who has been a part of our wonderful sojourn and seek the best wishes and prayers of all our loved ones, lots of love.”
