Kannada actors Yash and Radhika get married at a lavish ceremony
Kannada superstars Yash and Radhika Pandit tied the knot in a traditional Kannadiga ceremony at Bengaluru’s Taj West End on Friday, December 9. The couple had got engaged in August this year on the auspicious day of Varamalakshmi at a private ceremony in Goa.
For the themed wedding, Yash was attired in a golden Mysore peta and silk panche, while Radhika was decked up in a golden saree and jewellery.
Several renowned personalities from the South film industry and world of politics attended the star couple’s wedding. Actor-brothers Puneet Rajkumar, Shiva Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar attended with their wives. Sudeep, Anant Nag, V Ravichandaran, K Manju, Srinath, Doddanna and Pavan Wadeyar among others were also present.
The guest list also included Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, former chief minister, SM Krishna and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. Entrepreneur-cum-social activist Muthappa Rai was also spotted.
A lavish reception is also slated to be held on Saturday evening at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds. The grand event is expected to be attended by over 2000 people.
Yash and Radhika, one of the most loved on-screen couples of Sandalwood, have been in a steady relationship for over five years and have known each other for over a decade. Yash and Radhika first met on the sets of tele-series 'Nanda Gokula'. The couple made their film debut together with Shashank’s ‘Moggina Manasu’ in 2008, which earned them both South Filmfare Awards. It is said said that love blossomed between them while shooting for the film.
The couple has also acted together in films like ‘Drama’, ‘Mr & Mrs Ramachari’ and the recent release ‘Santhu: Straight Forward’.
