Kangana p***, changed costumes behind rock for ‘Rangoon’
Now-a-days film stars have classy vanity vans equipped with all sorts of facilities, including toilets, which come to their aid during outdoor shoots. However, it is not always possible to have a utility van on shooting location.
Kangana Ranaut revealed that she had to attend nature’s call and change costumes under the open sky, while shooting for an upcoming film in a remote location.
While speaking with actress Neha Dhupia on her audio chat show ‘#NoFilterNeha’, the National Award winning actress disclosed about some of the weird situation that she had experienced while shooting for her films.
Kangana said that while shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘Rangoon’, she used to change her costumes behind rocks due to lack of facilities.
"I was p**ing behind rocks, changing behind rocks. My own people would just cover me. Everyone was, so was Shahid (Kapoor). There was nothing, so what do you do?" the actress said.
Kangana said, "That happens all the time when you're thrown out of your comfort zone. Initially it is intimidating… It doesn't really matter if you're a star or not a star."
"It just depends on the kind of project that you choose. For example, for 'Rangoon', we were taken to these remote valleys of Arunachal Pradesh. There were literally no villages, nothing, not even rest rooms," Kangana added.
She also revealed that while shooting for the National Award winning film ‘Queen’, she used to change costumes at cafes in Europe.
On the work front, Kangana is currently in the US shooting for director Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’. She will be next seen in ‘Rangoon’ in the role of an actress named Julia. The movie set in the backdrop of World War II also stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, and is slated to hit screens on February 24, 2017.
