Kajol, Ajay, Ambani's royal date with Prince Charles

Ajay Devgn and his wife Kajol were among the many other noted celebrities to dine with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in Mumbai. The event which took place on Saturday was organized in support of British Asian Trust. 

The royal couple was welcomed by Indian celebrities which included Bollywood stars and Business tycoons. Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani was also present at this occasion along with his wife Nita Ambani. Nita was looking stunning in a black and gold saree. Her bronze clutch perfectly complimented her manicured nails. The Royal couple was seen talking with the Ambanis. Mukesh Ambani was also seen in the company of Godrej Group Chairman, Adi Godrej. The royal lady was looking beautiful in a white salwar suit. Prince Charles was looking every inch royal in his black suit and bow tie.

Senior Supreme court lawyer Harish Salve was present at the party along with his wife. Both were greeted by Ambanis. Gulshan Grover was seen with big royal mustaches. He and Ajay posed for shutterbugs along with Kajol and Nita. Kajol looked pretty in a beige saree and golden sleeveless blouse. Ajay was looking charming with little grown beard. Actor Suhel Seth was seen talking to Kajol and Ajay. Ajay and Gulshan shared some light moments and Kajol was captured having a hearty laugh.

Veteran Cricketer Rahul Dravid was also among the guests. He was dressed formally in a black suit. Novelist and blogger Shobha De was looking very traditional and classy in a pink silk saree. Her gajra complimented her traditional looks. Prince Charles, Camilla and Shobha De shared some light moments. Shobha De was later seen posing for photographs with Gulshan Grover.

The event was hosted jointly by Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani.

Prince Charles and wife Camilla were in India to launch the British Asian Trust Advisory Council in Mumbai. The trust funds high value charities in the areas related to health, education and livelihoods in four countries viz. India, Pakistan Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Mukesh Ambani was appointed chairman of the trust's India Advisory Council. He was appointed at an event which took place at Windsor Castle earlier this year.

The trust will aim at persuading wealthy Indian tycoons towards giving back to the society. This will help in reviving ailing cities of India.
