‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ director Prakash Kovelamudi split with wife Kanika Dhillon

According to the latest report, ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ director Prakash Kovelamudi and his screen writer wife Kanika Dhillon ended their marriage. The couple separated two years ago but they have kept the news under wrap.

They have split even before they started working on ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. "Yes, we did split but not during Judgementall Hai Kya. It happened 2 years back, before the cameras rolled on the film," they said in a statement.

Prakash Kovelamudi wanted to make the matter public but Kanika wanted to keep things under wrap. "We were settled in Hyderabad, as my social circle is there, but Kanika shifted to Mumbai, around 2 years back...," Kanika, interrupted in between and said, "That's really not important, what matters is that we are still friends and the decision is amicable." The duo had tied the knot in 2014.

The director is positive to work with his ex-wife again. "Of course, why not! We have pulled this (Judgementall Hai Kya) off together successfully and had a great time working together. We are surely open to collaborate on more projects."

According to Mumbai Mirror, Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha’s break-up is related to Prakash Kovelamudi and Kanika Dhillon. Sahil is said to be in a relationship with Kanika Dhillion. Moreover, Dia’s sizzling chemistry with her ‘Kaafir’ co-star Mohit Raina has spoilt her relationship with husband Sahil Sangha. After 11 years of togetherness, Dia and Sahil announced separation on social media.

Dia wrote, "After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other."

She requested everyone to respect their privacy, Dia further wrote,"We thank our family and friends for all their support and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time. We will not be commenting any further on this matter."

The statement was jointly issued by the ex-couple.

After few years of courtship, Dia married Sahil in a private wedding at the latter’s Chhattarpur farmhouse in Delhi in 2008. The couple has no children together.
