Jhanvi Kapoor to debut in Kjo’s film, confirms dad Boney Kapoor

Producer father Boney Kapoor finally confirmed that his elder daughter Jhanvi Kapor is all set to take Bollywood by storm. Jhanvi is all set to start her Bollywood career with Karan Johar’s project, most probably  in the Hindi the remake of Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’ of which Karan has acquired the official rights.

It was also speculated that Karan might launch Jhanvi in the ‘Student Of The Year 2’, but the news turned out to be false. He would launch the star kid in the‘Sairat’ remake. The lead actor opposite Jhanvi is not yet finalized.

While speaking to DNA, Boney Kapoor said, "Yes, Karan has been talking to us about a film for Jhanvi and we've given consent. But we don't know which project it would be. Since Karan has recently acquired the remake rights of Sairat it is being presumed that our daughter would be launched in this project."

In the past, when Sridevi was asked about her daughter’s Bollywood dream, she was quoted as saying, "It's too early for her to decide a career. Let her study, enjoy life. I missed out on the fun side of growing because I was busy in the studios. I want my children to enjoy every phase of their life."

Boney Kapoor is now looking forward to a glorious career for her daughter Jhanvi in Bollywood.

"I see in my daughter the same focus and concentration on her chosen career as her mother. It's never easy for star kids to make a place for themselves as they are invariably compared with their legendary parents. I hope Jhanvi won't be compared with her mother, though," Boney said.

Well, all the best to Jhanvi for a glorious Bollywood career. Hope, she shines like her mother.
