Jaqueline Farnandez: “If not Kick 2, there’ll be more movies with him”

Actress Jaqueline Fernandez who has been left out the sequel of her 2014 hit film ‘Kick’, said that being a part of the film was an amazing experience in her life.

Reacting to ‘Kick’ star Salman Khan’s statement about her exclusion from the film’s sequel, the Sri Lankan beauty said, “I thank Salman till date for making me a part of the movie. If not in Kick 2, Inshallah, there will be more movies with him. Kick was a huge blessing, so it’s all that I need.”

At the recently held Arab Indo Bollywood Awards, Salman had, in his inimitable humorous style, said that the makers of ‘Kick’ are planning a sequel but Jacqueline has been “kicked out of Kick 2” and won’t be seen in the film.

The ‘Murder 2’ actress has indeed handled the situation in a smart way at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2015 media interactions, when posed with questions about her ousting from Sajid Nadiadwala’s film.

Interestingly, Jacqueline was also roped in for a special item number for Salman’s production ‘Hero’ starring Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi, but it was also shelved at the last moment.

Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala has reportedly registered the title for the sequel as ‘Devil’.

"Sajid has registered the title because he feels it is very catchy and popular. People have loved the song and after Kick released, many even thought that the sequel would be called ‘Devil’, given that Salman played Devil in the film", a source said.

Jacqueline will be next seen in Riteish Deshmukh starrer ‘Bangistan’ slated to release on July 31. She is also cast as a supporting actress in Karan Malhotra’s upcoming film ‘Brothers’ starring Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra, which will hit screens on August 14.

The ‘Kick’ actress also has in her kitty Remo D’ Souza’s ‘The Flying Jat’ opposite Tiger Shroff.
