“Iulia, not Lulia,” Salman Khan’s sister Alvira scorns media

Recently, Salman Khan and his alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur, along with his sisters Alvira and Arpita attended politician Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party, which was also attended by several other celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan. However, Alvira lost her cool and shouted at the media for a weird reason.

Reportedly, the gathered media was addressing Iulia as ‘Lulia’ as they arrived at the venue. It is weird because the paparazzi has been writing about Salman’s Romanian ladylove for a long time now. Moreover, when Iulia was in her native place last year following the expiry of her visa, she had cleared the confusion regarding her name in an interview to a Romanian network. She had said that her name is spelled with an ‘I’, like in India, and not ‘L’ as in London. The confusion was perhaps because the capital ‘I’ looks like a small ‘L’ when typed, she had clarified.

Hence, it is a little bizarre when a section of media still wrongly pronounces her name and irks her close ones (read Salman’s family).

As per a report in SpotboyE, when the journalists and photographers screamed out her name wrongly as ‘Lulia', Alvira, who was right behind Iulia, decided to tell the shutterbugs off. She asked them to stop yelling and told them that her name is ‘Iulia’, not ‘Lulia’. She told them that they better start pronouncing Iulia's name correctly.

Iulia shares a very warm relationship with Salman’s family, who are also fond of the lady. Iulia is more-often-than-not spotted with the Khans at their private celebration, holidays and parties. In fact, in March-April this year, Iulia accompanied Salman’s entire family on a vacation to Maldives to ring in the first birthday of Salman’s nephew and Arpita and Aayush’s son Ahil.

Meanwhile, Iulia has already kickstarted a singing career in Bollywood and has lent her vocals to a song in Himesh Reshammiyaa’s album ‘Aap Se Mausiiquii’.
