It is studip: Kangana Ranaut pokes fun at Deepika, Priyanka

Kangana Ranaut, who does not hesitate to speak her mind in public gets candid about her arch-rival Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood debut. Kangana has already firmed her foot in Bollywood and when she was asked about her Hollywood plans, she straightway refused to explore Hollywood, stating that entertainment in Asia is on a strong ground - much like what Hollywood was about 15 years ago. The ‘Queen’ actress feels it is stupid to leave Bollywood and work in Hollywood at this point of time as it is a good time for movies in Bollywood.

When she was asked about her contemporaries Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone making waves in Hollywood, she feels it is ‘stupid’.

Taking a dig at the two leading Bollywood actresses, Kangana Ranaut said, “It would be stupid for anyone to make the move to the West now. Their theatre business is crashing because of the influx of digital media. Asia, on the other hand, is where Hollywood was 15 years ago. It is a lucrative time for entertainment here. These are baits that I won’t fall prey to.”Kangana Ranaut did not stop here. She also took potshots at Hrithik Roshan, she says, "Intimidating women aren't worth having sex with."

“Bold, stubborn women, who are achievers, are desirable only to those who are strong and assured. [For some men] it’s frightening to handle a woman who can speak her mind. Thankfully, that’s not true of everyone. Courage is often endearing and rare,” she said.

Kangana feels successful women can't speak the truth fearing of backlash.“People appreciate the goody two-shoes. Even the most successful women want to be liked by others. There is the alluring promise of heaven for those who can love selflessly. It’s fine if they can’t look themselves in the eye, but the world should see them as the epitome of holiness. They [her colleagues] don’t stand up for themselves, forget doing it for others”, she quips.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
