Irrfan Khan resumes work after defeating cancer

Irrfan Khan, who returned to India last week after being treated for neuroendocrine tumour in London for months, was spotted outside producer Dinesh Vijan's office in Mumbai on Thursday.

The versatile actor was spotted in his car. He was dressed casually and covered his face with a scarf as he arrived at Dinesh Vijan's office. The actor bravely defeated cancer and will soon resume shooting for ‘Hindi Medium 2’.

The pictures of Irrfan Khan outside Dinesh Vijan’s office are circulated all over net.

In March last year, noted actor Irrfan Khan had revealed that he has been diagnosed with a rare tumour. Soon after that he left for London for treatment. After eight months, Irrfan returned to India. Irrfan was spotted at the airport and to avoid paparazzi, he covered his face with a scarf. He donned a pink jacket and camouflage pants.

Irrfan wrote soon after cancer diagnosis, “The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope".

Irrfan will start shooting for ‘Hindi Medium 2’, its producer Dinesh Vijan had said earlier, “Right now, everything is speculation. Irrfan had just come back to town. It’s the script that is ready. Hopefully, in another one month, we’ll have a clarity.”

Tigmanshu Dhulia, director of 'Hindi Medium 2' said to Deccan Chronicle in an interview, “I did meet him after he returned to India. He is perfectly fine now. Irrfan told me that he will begin shooting for Hindi Medium franchise soon.”
