Inside Pix: Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra’s mehendi ceremony

The mehendi ceremony of the high profile wedding of cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra took place today in Jalandhar, Punjab and it was full of rituals, nach gana and fun. The bride was dressed in a  lime yellow kurti and pink lehenga designer by Archana Kocchar while the groom was dressed in a simple white tee.

Geeta Basra looks every bit of a Punjabi bride. They posed for the camera sporting million dollar smile on their face. Geeta Basra looks pretty and rounded her arm around Harbhajan Singh.

Few days back, Geeta’s friends threw a bachelorette bash for her. The wedding card already distributed and it was expected to be attended by close family members and friends only. The closely guarded wedding at Phagwara, 20 kilometres from Jalandhar will be followed by a grand wedding reception in Delhi. Cricketers and film stars are invited.

Harbhajan Singh will be wearing Raghavendra Rathore’s a dark blue velvet achkan with embroidery while Geeta will be seen wearing a traditional red and gold coloured lehenga designed by Archana Kochha for the wedding.

Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh will finally enter into wedlock after long years of courtship on October 29, 2015. The couple always kept a low profile while dating each other. In various occasions, they were spotted together. They never tried to hide their relationship or became too much vocal about their affair.

The mehendi will be followed by a fun-filled sangeet tomorrow.
