Priyanka Chopra’s wedding with American singer-composer Nick Jonas kick-started with a lavish bridal shower in New York. PeeCee’s friends in New York hosted a lavish bridal shower for her. The bride-to-be looked deadly gorgeous in a white Marchesa feathered dress paired with nude Christian Louboutin pumps.
She wore a diamonds string necklace from Tiffany. Priyanka's stylist Mimi Cuttrell shared a photo of the actress from the party. In the photo, Priyanka posed against the backdrop of a 'bride' balloon banner. Priyanka let her hair down at her bridal shower. The actress also shook legs with her mom Madhu Chopra.
Priyanka shared picture of her getting ready for the bridal shower. It showed her friends getting her hair done. “My girls r in town!” she wrote.
The party was hosted by Priyanka’s close friends Mubina Rattonsey and Anjula Acharia with Hollywood celebs such as Kelly Ripa, Lupita Nyong’o and her future sister-in-law Danielle Jonas and her daughter Alena on the guest list.
The paparazzi outside the NYC venue informed that the actress was “so much” excited for the party.
On the wedding details, a source
informed a magazine, “Nick and Priyanka were recently in India and had even
gone to Jodhpur. That was when they decided the gorgeous Umaid Bhawan to be
their dream wedding venue. They will have a limited guest list of 200 people
with only their close friends and family in attendance. Since lot of their
Hollywood friends are settled in New York, PC is quite excited to have her
bridal shower there followed by a grand wedding in Jodhpur.”
