I’m not doing a cameo in Kajol’s ‘Dilwale’, Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn, who is waiting for the release of his next movie, ‘Drishyam’ refuted the rumor that he is doing a cameo in Kajol and Shahrukh Khan starrer, ‘Dilwale’.

Talking to IANS about it, Ajay said, “That’s not true. Its just a rumour. No I’m not doing a cameo in ‘Dilwale’. It was a coincidence that when I was there, at the same time they were shooting in Bulgaria. I went there for the location of ‘Shivaay’ and then saw Shah Rukh and the team there.”

When Ajay was asked if there are any plans to team up with Kajol in the near future, Ajay said, "I would love to work with Kajol. But we don't have any script in our hands. The moment we get the right script, we will definitely work together."

Ajay has worked with director Rohit Shetty in ‘Singham’ and ‘Golmaal’ series while Kajol is working with the 100 crore club director for the first time. Ajay said that ‘Dilwale’ is a big film and he is happy that Kajol is back to work.

"I was already in Bulgaria when Rohit and his team came to shoot 'Dilwale'. I was prepping for 'Shivaay' and they all came to meet me there. I am happy about 'Dilwale'. It's a big film and has been creating a lot of buzz. It's a much awaited film," he told PTI.

‘Dilwale’ also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Johnny Lever, Kabir Bedi and the film is slated for December 18 release.

Meanwhile, Ajay is hopeful that ‘Drishyam’ will able to connect with the audience.

"After a long time, I have got something, which is out-of-the-box and very interesting. I was waiting for a film like 'Drishyam' to come my way. It is about a common man's journey and I related with my role. At the end, we stars also have a middle class thinking and values and would do anything to protect our family”.
