I would love to play Sachin Tendulkar, Ayushmann Khurrana

The ‘Vicky Donor’ actor Ayushmann Khurrana has expressed his heartfelt desire to play iconic cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in reel.

"I don't resemble any sports person. I have never thought about it, but I would love to play Sachin Tendulkar. I think he is a legend. You have to make a film on him because we never had such a great batsman in the country. More than an Indian icon, he is a global icon, worth emulating," he told here.

When the actor was asked to name one political leader who can become an actor in Bollywood, Khurrana named Rajvardhan Singh Rathore, minister in the Narendra Modi cabinet. He said Rathore has all the qualities of becoming a good actor.

"Rajvardhan Singh Rathore is a very good looking person. He can be a good actor as he is tall, well-spoken and has gift of the gab. I think he has all the elements of becoming an actor," he said during the launch Smirnoff ICE.

However, Khurrana said he would love Rathore to see as an action hero as he is an ex-army man.

Ayushmann also praised PM Modi, said he is a rockstar. Khurrana said, "Narendra Modi is a well-dressed person. He is India's rockstar. He has been travelling across the world and bringing lot of investors into India. People all over the world love him and I think he is very proactive in whatever he does."

Asked Ayushmann Khuranna about the controversy over the 'Kiss Of Love' protest, to be organised in Bengaluru against moral policing, he said, "It all depends on you as a person - whether he is an introvert or an extrovert. I am not really comfortable with the public display of affection. If other people are comfortable let them be."
