I will never approve of Jasleen-Anup ji’s relationship, Jasleen Matharu's father

The 65-year-old Bhajan singer Anup Jalota’s relationship with his Jasleen Matharu, 28 was surfaced on net after the duo accepted to take part on the reality show, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ as ‘Vichitra Jodi’. Jasleen’s father Kesar Matharu is shocked to learn about his daughter’s relationship with Anup Jalota, who is much older than Jasleen. he said that he perfonally introduced Jasleen to Anup Ji to improve her singing skill. He did not have the knowledge that his daughter is dating the singer for the past three years and like other, he is also shocked to learn about their affair.

Jasleen’s father added that he would never accept Jasleen and Anup Jalota’s relationship.

Taking to India Today, Kesar Matharu said, “I had no clue about this. I was told they were entering as guru-shishya jodi. She never told me about this. When they made the announcement, my entire family couldn't believe their eyes. We all got very angry. Within ten minutes, I started getting calls from friends. My wife (who was watching the show) got up and went inside. It was very unexpected”.

He said that he knew Anup Ji from before, “Yes, I did. In fact, I introduced Anup ji to my family and Jasleen. I wanted Jasleen to improve on her singing skills, that's why I introduced her to him. Uske baad aana-jaana hota raha”.

Kesar Mathura added that he did not know that his daughter is dating Anup Jalota for more than three years, “No. That's why I am shocked. He kept coming to our house, but I could never sense there is something cooking between the two. We never came to know when all this started”.

He said that he would never approve of his relationship with Anup Ji, “No. Never. It's not possible. If she asks me, I will never give my approval to this relationship. I will not give my blessings to them, and I would rather keep my distance from this. But I will definitely ask my daughter why she did it. If she admits to her relationship with him, I will maintain my distance from them”.
