I wake up every 3 hours, Shahid Kapoor on baby Misha

Shahid Kapoor graces the MAMI 18th Film Festival and during the occasion, he gets  chatty about his wife Mira Rajput and daughter Misha.

When the ‘Haider’ actor was asked how life has changed after marriage, the actor said, “Earlier, I was the master of my own will, now that isn’t the case. I have become a lot more centered since I got married.”

He aded that that Mira and he bring out the best in each other. “I recall that after winning awards for Haider, I wanted to sit with someone and talk to someone. It was an empty house and now there is happiness.”

He added, “I always wanted to marry someone who is real and normal. Mira pulls me back and gives a fresh perspective to things. In fact, she is opinionated and I never second guess her opinion.”

Talking about his darling daughter Misha, the actor says that he cannot define how is it being a father is nothing short of amazing, “Misha gives me a lot of strength. Life is all about her now. I feel like I am ready to protect and even fight for her. I Want to be my best for Misha. I never want to leave home once I return to my wife and baby.”

Addressing the cute struggles of being a father, Shahid quipped, “With a baby, I wake up every 3 hours. I change diapers and most of my T-shirts have Misha’s vomit and milk stains on them.”

Married in July 2015, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput welcomed their first child on 26th August. Mira delivered a baby girl at Mumbai Hinduja hospital. Shahid Kapoor took to his social media account to share the good news of his baby’s arrival. No sooner the news was shared by Shahid, wishes started to pour in. He tweeted: "She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes.”

Mira was admitted to Mumbai Hinduja hospital on 24th August two days before her delivery. Shahid Kapoor just returned from his paternity leave.On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is on preparation mode for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.
