Big Blow: I-T officials raid ‘Baahubali’ producers’ homes
In a shocking incident today, the IT officials carried a raid at the residences and offices of ‘Baahubali’ producers. It is a big blow for the 'Baahubali' producers Sobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
Recently, the producers sold ‘Baahubali 2’rights to various distributors for a whopping amount and took large sums of money in advance from them. IT people used the right time to raid on them.
The IT department had the information that producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni were in possession of at least Rs 60 crore cash of banned Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
Speaking to India Today, Telugu producer -director Tammareddy Bharadwaja highly slammed the event and said that the IT department without any reason is harassing the producer, adding that not a single producer from the industry are involved in illegal practices and all the producers maintained proper documents.
‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, which starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah was a blockbuster and grossed over Rs 600 crore worldwide.
The team is currently wrapping up the shoot of the much-anticipated sequel ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ will hit the screens on April 28, 2017.
