I don't think Nirbaak can be remake in Hindi, Sushmita Sen

Former beauty queen and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, who debuted in Tollywood with ‘Nirbaak’ said that the film could not be remake into Hindi as it would lose the essence. After missing from Bollywood for quite sometime, Sushmita made her Bengali film debut with Srijit Mukherjee’s ‘Nirbaak’.

‘Nirbaak’ centred on Sushmita Sen and she is connected to four love stories.

"I don't think Nirbaak can be remade in Hindi or any other language. The film's essence is pretty Bengali. Moreover, it is not even needed to be presented in any other language because the film's name is Nirbaak which means speechless," said the actor in Mumbai Friday during the premiere of the film for her Hindi film industry friends.

"There are very few dialogues in the film. So, anybody not only from the country but from the world can understand the film," she added.

‘Nirbaak’ (speechless) featuring Jisshu Sengupta, Anjan Dutta and Ritwick Chakraborty along with Sen and directed by Srijit Mukherji, released in Kolkata on May 1 while it will release in the other parts of the country on Friday.
