Husband Goldie Behl reacts strongly to Sonali Bendre’s death hoax

Cancer stricken Sonali Bendre has been the next celebrity to fall prey of death hoax. The false report of Sonali's passing away went viral after BJP MLA Ram Kadam tweeted that Sonali Bendre is no more.

The tweet reads, "Sonali Bendre, the actress who ruled Hindi and Marathi cinema was no more."

However, the MLA later clarified, "About Sonali Bendre ji. It was rumour. Since last two days... I pray to God for her good health and speedy recovery."

Producer and husband of the actress Goldie Behl has urged people to use social media platforms with responsibility and not to spread or believe in rumours.

"I appeal to all to please use social media more responsibly. Let us not believe in rumours and spread them, unnecessarily hurting the sentiments of those involved. Thank you," he tweeted Saturday.

Sonali Bendre 43, is undergoing metastatic cancer treatment in New York. In July, the actress shared the sad news that she has been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer.

Here’s wishing the actress a speedy recovery!
