‘Humshakals’ earns 40.13 crore in the opening weekend

Despite receiving negative reviews, Sajid Khan’s ‘Humshakals’ is collecting non-stop cash at the box-office. The film has earned 40.13 crore in the opening weekend. The film collected 12.5 crore on Friday making it the third highest opening day collection. ‘Humshakals’ earned 12.59 crore on Saturday and collected Rs 15.04 crore on Sunday, totalling it to Rs. 40.13 crore in the opening weekend.

Starring Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Tamannah Bhatia, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor and Esha Gupta in lead roles, ‘Humshakals’ is the single release this week and also well promoted by the star casts. Made on a budget of 75 crores, writer Milap Zaveri, is happy with the film’s performance.

The Fox Star Studios and Vashu Bhagnani’s co-production has already sold its satellite and music rights for Rs.45 crore.

The stars of the film have already started celebrating the film’s success. After Tamannah Bhatia, Saif Ali Khan threw a private party at his residence Fortune Heights.
