Hrithik, Sonam express their wish to work together in film

Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor who recreated the magic and romance of the song ‘Dheere Dheere’ from 1990 film ‘Ashiqui’ have expressed their interest to work with each other. The duo has showcased crackling chemistry in rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh’s recreation of the popular track.

“I like to work with Sonam. I think we should do a film together,” Hrithik told reporters during the launch ceremony of the music video. Sonam also responded by saying, “I would love to work with him as well in a feature film.”

The recreation of 'Dheere Dheere' has been directed by Ahmed Khan. It is for the second time that Hrithik and Sonam have been paired. The actors had earlier collaborated for an advertisement of a smart-phone.

“We just had a ball. Ahmed actually had to distract us from our conversations. We were laughing half the time. So it was just very joyful," the ‘Bang Bang’ star said about his experience of working with Sonam while shooting the video.

"I think that is what Sonam brings on to a set, because she’s always got that smile on her face, a 100-watt one that radiates and spreads across the ambience. It was great fun," he added.

The song which was originally sung by Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal is a tribute to late Gulshan Kumar, founder of ‘T-Series’.

Meanwhile, Hrithik is working for Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Sonam will be next seen opposite Salman Khan in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ which is set to release this Diwali. The ‘Khoobsurat’ actress is also shooting for a biopic of airhostess Neerja Bhanot.
