Hrithik Roshan tweets apology for ‘Pope’ remark

Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan tweets apology for hurting the religious sentiments following his remark on ‘Pope’.

Hrithik tweeted: Seems my tweet about His Holiness has led 2misunderstanding. My apologies 4 hurt caused 2religious or other sentiments. Was unintentional.

Hrithik landed himself into legal trouble when a Christian group slapped a notice on him for making a remark on ‘Pope’.

Last week, Hrithik received a notice from Dr Abraham Mathai, All India President of the Indian Christian Voice, demanding an apology from the actor for his comment on the Pope as he was 'extremely hurt' by the actor's 'disobedient' comments.

Hrithik Roshan made a remark on Pope when he indulged in a brawl with Kangana Ranaut. Hrithik, on January 28, had tweeted, “There are more chances of me having had an affair with the Pope than any of the (I m sure wonderful) women the media has been naming. Thanks but no thanks (sic).”

Hrithik Roshan made this remark when Kangana apparently referred to him as her silly “ex”.

On the work front, Hrithik is currently shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Mohenjo Daro'.
