Hrithik Roshan to play mathematician Anand Kumar in a biopic


Hrithik Roshan has finally signed his first biopic. He will play a noted mathematician Anand Kumar in a biopic to be directed by Vikas Bahl. The film tentatively titled ‘Super 30’ and is based on the real life Patna-based mathematician, Anand Kumar.

Anand Kumar is a maths genius and runs a coaching centre in Patna for IIT aspirants, who came from poor economic background, has no money to take coaching for IIT. The title ‘Super 30’ came from the name of his coaching centre.

He started the program in 2002 is for IIT aspirants and has achieved great success. The 44-year-old mathematician coaches economically poor students for IIT-JEE. Anand coaches the poor students who dreams to crack IIT and he just devoted his life in doing so.

It was heard that Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan were the top contenders for the lead role but finally the superhero bagged the promising project.

Hrithik, who is currently in vacation, will soon start preparing for the role.

Earlier while talking to the media, Bahl had said, "Anand's life has many interesting dimensions and weaving them into a story for a film would be really fascinating. The actor will have to study Anand Kumar and mould himself in his style. The film will be extensively shot in Bihar to create the flavour." 

Well, listening to the story of Anand, we can say it is a challenging role and Hrithik is quite fortunate to enact the role.
