Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff to star in YRF’s action thriller


Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff have been confirmed for Yash Raj Films next to be directed by Sidharth Anand. They will be playing the teacher-student duo. The untitled film will go on floors in April 2018.

Before the announcement, Tiger, who calls Hrithik his guru, had an interesting Twitter chat with the ‘Krish’ star. “Sir @iHrithik. You are my Guru. But you should know when the game changes. #HrithikVsTiger,” Tiger tweeted.

Hrithik retorted, “A Guru will always have that one trick, he doesnt teach his student. @iTIGERSHROFF #HrithikVsTiger.”

Their twitter conversation spark the conversation that Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are playing teacher and student in the film. The film will be an action thriller and will involve high dose of actions.

Sharing the announcement, Hrithik later wrote, “The BIGGEST Action event ever. Exploding on 25th Jan’19. #HrithikvsTiger ! ...Be Ready.”

Hrithik is reunited with YRF after 11 years. He last worked in YRF’s ‘Dhoom 2’, while this would be Tiger’s first film with YRF. Director Siddharth Anand began his career with YRF. The film is scheduled to release on January 25, 2019.

Meanwhile, Tiger is working with Sidharth Anand on the Indian remake of Hollywood film franchise Rambo.
