Hrithik misses his lakshya but learns his lesson

The actor was banking heavily on this film because, quite frankly, he didn’t have any other project to bank upon, of course, purely by choice.

The non-success of Lakshya must have made him realise the pitfalls involved in doing one project at a time. For, filmmaking is a...
...collaborative effort and an actor, howsoever diligent he may be, can’t guarantee a film’s success. But the point is, working in one film at a time is fraught with dangers as these.

Amitabh Bachchan may also hopefully have learnt a lesson or two from Lakshya, but completely different from that which Hrithik may have learnt. Bachchan should not be doing roles that don’t do justice to his stature.

The Big B like Hrithik, was good in Lakshya but that he always is. Is there a single scene in Lakshya which belongs to the superstar? There’s big money he gets paid, but money can’t be so important that the role becomes secondary.

Money and roles must be complementary. That way, the actor and his fans will love it.
