Helen makes comeback with Mera Bachpan

Helen on the sets of Mera BachpanVeteran actress Helen is making her comeback into Bollywood with Mera Bachpan. She has been signed by debutante director Rajiv Sharma. Helen will be seen in the role of a grandmother. Rajiv has written the script keeping in mind the dancing queen in the role of nanny.

Mera Bachpan is directed to children and it has been inspired from Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par. After the overwhelming response of TZP, Rajiv had thought to zero a project that would touch the sensibility of children. After being Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s assistant for several years, Rajiv has decided to take up direction by his own and choose to start with children oriented film.

Helen is quite impressed with the script and feels herself fortunate to be part of it. An elated Helen says ''The script was simply amazing. And when I read it I was so overwhelmed, that I decided I had to do it'. She further adds ''I have also recently seen the rushes of Mera Bachpan and liked the way it has shaped up immensely’. Joining her will be another yesteryears actress Padmini Kolhapure and four other talented children.
