‘Hawaizaada’ is a different bird to watch out for

Ayushmann Khurrana and Mithun Chakraborty starrer ‘Hawaizaada’ offers audiences many wonderful reasons to watch this amazing biopic. This film tells the tale of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who was a brilliant and somewhat enigmatic scientist of the yesteryears. All the stupendous reasons to watch this movie are as follows:

.Patriotism: Republic Day celebrations are still fresh in the minds of the movie buffs. Love and pride for the nation is in the air, more than usual. And ‘Hawaizaada’ which celebrates the pride of India will release on the 30th of January. This film is set in Bombay during the period of the British Raj.  It tells the tale of the struggles Mr. Talpade endures to make India the nation that invented and flew an aircraft. Debutante director Vibhu Virender Puri wants to strike while the iron is still hot. This is precisely why the film is marketing heavily on its ‘Made in India’ aspects. Plus, it is bringing to the table the fact that an Indian flew the world’s first aircraft before the Wright Brothers did.

Cast: Ayushmann Khurrana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda form the dazzling star cast of this movie. Movie buffs need no introduction to the talent of veteran actor Mithun Da and energetic Ayushmann. When the two talented actors unite the result is guaranteed to be spectacular. In the trailer that was released in December, Mithun Da is seen as Pandit Subbaraya Shastry, the mentor, while Ayushmann (Shivkar Talpade) is his protégé. As for the female lead Sitara, beauty pageant winner and star of ‘Dus Tola’ Pallavi Sharda, plays the role. Her performance looks promising too.

Blend of fantasy & reality: ‘Hawaizaada’ finds its inspiration from true events of the 19th century. However, the film contains both reality and fantasy. This biopic is the brilliant amalgamation of both. According to Vibhu (director) “I could never have produced such a massive project without the superb assistance of the 3,000 technicians. They dedicated two years of their lives to Hawaizaada”. This is the film that introduces ‘magical realism’ to Indian audiences. Vibhu Puri is an established name in Bollywood, he has worked on the screenplay and dialogues of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies. Namely, ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Guzaarish’.

Endearing tale of love: Through the dialogues that were heard in the trailer it becomes obvious that ‘Hawaizaada’ is also a tale of love. Elaborate and romantic scenes between the leading couple have managed to achieve a considerable amount of screen time. The couple looks capable of keeping audiences hooked through their chemistry.
